Referral Process at ASOY

 

Classroom concerns – first, contact the teacher.

If the issue is not resolved, inform the ES Principal [email protected] or the MS/HS
Vice Principal [email protected].

If necessary, it will then be brought to the Director.

 

For Academic issues or questions, contact the appropriate IB Coordinator (PYP, MYP, or DP Coordinator). If the issue is not resolved, inform the ES Principal [email protected] or the MS/HS Vice Principal [email protected].

If necessary, it will then be brought to the Director.

 

Regarding non-classroom concerns, health issues should initially go to the nurse [email protected] and ASAs to the Athletic Director [email protected].

If the issues are not resolved, they should then go to the Deputy Director and Director.

 

Remarking in MYP and DP

In the event of requesting an enquiry upon results after their release, IB guidelines are strictly followed: 

 

For the annual IBDP results in July 

  • The IB DP coordinator is contacted with written consent indicating the course that the student wants to have remarked
  • The IB DP Coordinator informs the concerned parties of the implications and possible scenarios.
  • The DP coordinator then proceeds to do the request for the course(s) to be remarked while the revision process fee is paid by the student.
  • Upon completion, the IB notifies the DP Coordinator of the outcome who then notifies the student concerned.

Remarking on the Personal project for the MYP will follow the same process as above but will involve the MYP coordinator instead.

 

Safety issues should be sent to the office manager [email protected] and copied to the Director
[email protected] and Deputy Director [email protected]
