A teacher who will inspire and design challenges for students to:

- Apply practical and creative thinking skills to solve design problems.

- Explore both historical and contemporary contexts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated comprehensive School Counselor with a strong understanding of current child safeguarding practices. Experience working within International Baccalaureate (IB) schools is highly preferred. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and career development while collaborating with parents, staff, and the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advisory Program Management
  • Organize and oversee the upper school advisory program, focusing on wellness and social-emotional learning (SEL).
  • Develop and implement initiatives that promote student well-being and a positive school culture.
  1. Academic and Comprehensive Counseling
  • Provide one-on-one and group counselling to support students' academic progress and overall development.
  • Address individual student needs, including learning strategies, time management, and personal growth.
  1. Career and University Guidance
  • Facilitate career exploration and university planning for students in grades 6–12.
  • Maintain relationships with global universities to support applications and enrollment processes.
  • Provide guidance and resources for the college application process, including essay reviews, interviews, and preparation of required documents.
  1. Parent and Community Engagement
  • Collaborate with parents to provide guidance and support related to student academic and emotional well-being.
  • Lead workshops or informational sessions for the school community on topics such as mental health, university preparation, and wellness strategies.
