An experienced leader with capacity to build and maintain a strong school culture. The school is seeking candidates who can prioritize effectively, resolve conflicts smoothly and communicate clearly. The ideal candidate will have solid interpersonal relationships, as one of his main activities will involve interactions with students, staff, parents, and members of the community. Candidates with previous principal or vice-principal assignments in IB environments will be preferred.  This is a part time position with assignments of teaching upper school (MYP and/or DP) for 60% of the time. The school is preferably looking for Economics and /or Mathematics teachers here.

Job description

- Candidates with experience teaching  Economics and Mathematics at the DP level. Math and Economics: Preferred candidates.

- Experienced with a good understanding of MYP and DP.

- Strong pedagogical, conceptual, and content knowledge in economics (HL and SL), mathematics analysis and approaches(AA, - HL & SL), and mathematics application and interpretations (AI, HL & SL).

- In-depth understanding of economic principles, theories, and their real-world applications.

- Ability to connect abstract concepts to real-life applications.

- Expertise in problem-solving techniques and mathematical modeling.

- Up-to-date with Current Affairs: Awareness of global and local economic trends, policies, and financial news.

- Familiarity with technology tools (e.g., graphing calculators).

4. Counselor(college/university guidance)

5. EAL/ESL

Job description

Experienced EAL teacher with flexibility to teach students aged 7-19.

Familiar with both in class push in and also able to conduct out of class 1:1 or small group sessions. Although not required, some basic knowledge of French would be an advantage.

Depending on volume of students this position may require teaching another subject.

IB experience preferred.

6. Elementary Homeroom Teacher

Job description

Seeking a teacher capable of maintaining and developing professional standards and culture in line with our school policies. The homeroom teacher is expected to actively promote openness, professional growth, teamwork, and takes initiatives while also modeling in word, demeanor and performance the Learner Profile we wish to see developed in our students. The homeroom teacher will have to work in collaboration with specialist teachers and be at ease conducting Inquiry based teaching of all homeroom subjects(English Language, Mathematics, Units of Inquiry, Art). The  Homeroom teacher has the ability to craft conceptual understandings with and for learners. 

 IBPYP experience in Grades 3-5 is preferred.
